How to Iron on a Patch
- Wash the Garment – Make sure it’s clean before applying the patch.
- Set the Iron – Adjust to the correct heat for your fabric.
- Preheat the Fabric – Iron the area where the patch will go.
- Position the Patch – Place it in the desired spot.
- Protect the Patch – Cover it with a cloth or towel.
- Apply Heat & Pressure – Press down firmly for 30 seconds in a circular motion.
- Iron the Back – Turn the garment inside out and iron the back of the patch for another 30 seconds.
- Let It Cool – Wait about a minute to check if it’s set.
- Check the Edges – If the edges lift, repeat step 6.
Tips for Best Results:
- Use a dry iron (no steam).
- Set the heat to the highest safe setting for your fabric:
- Denim/Canvas: Highest heat
- Cotton/Polyester: Medium to medium-high heat
- Chenille: Medium heat
- Apply firm, even pressure to ensure the adhesive bonds properly.
- A hair straightener on low heat works for small patches.
Important: Avoid ironing on heat-sensitive fabrics. Concept or Premiere SAV is not responsible for any damage caused during patch application.
